ASSOCIATION GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETINGS, NOTICES AND STATEMENTS

PRESS BRIEFING 

 

Notifications and declarations to be given by the associations in the Law on Reducing the Effects of the New Coronavirus (Covid-19) Epidemic on Economic and Social Life and Amending Some Laws No. 7244 and the general assembly meetings of the associations will be postponed until 31/7/2020, this period will be up to 3 months. Pursuant to the provision that it can be extended by the Minister of Interior, the said period has been extended until 31.10.2020 by the Ministry’s Approval dated 24.07.2020 and numbered 4720. 

 

In this context; 

 

Notification of association declarations and notifications until 31.10.2020, 

The general assembly meetings to be held by associations and association branches that do not have a branch should be held within 30 days after 31.10.2020, 

 

On the other hand, after the completion of the branch general assembly meetings of the associations with branches, it must be held within the period determined by the adjournment decision to be taken by the board of directors, within the framework of the provisions of the association’s charter containing the general assembly meeting procedures, according to the 7th article of the Law on Associations No. 5253 and the 14th article of the Associations Regulation.
